Writing Your Best – with Amazing Grammar

2012
02.19

It would seem that almost anyone can become a writer these days, and make at least a marginal profit from it! What makes it so easy for people to throw their opinion out there and still look like a professional writer – even if they have no sense of language or grammer? Well, spell check was introduced years and years ago, and that definitely help. One tool is breaking ground though, making sure that even those people who have absolutely no grasp of good grammar can still be heard.

I’m really surprised about the quality of the grammar checker software available today. I mean it spots everything – overused commas, double negatives… everything! I have always fancied myself a very good writer, but I went ahead and downloaded the grammar checker software just in case. As it turns out, I was making a lot of mistakes I had never even heard of. My viewers skyrocketed, and I sounded twice as professional as ever before!

The Latest Children’s Books for Your Classroom

2012
01.09

If you are searching through the latest children’s books for your classroom use, let me suggest a new series. Orange Down Under and Orange in the Land of Lakes and Volcanoes are the first two books from The Orange Chronicles. These books combine fun, excitement, and adventure with educational content, making them excellent for classroom story time.

The next three, to complete the set, are soon to come off the press. They will be Orange in the Snow, Orange in Red, White, and Blue, and Orange in the Kalahari. All these books take the readers or listeners to other countries where they meet new animals, learn new cultures, and solve mysteries while they keep you laughing the whole way through. Did I mention that Orange is a flying pig? Even his name, which is an acronym, is educational.

Trust me, these new books are a must for your classroom. You and your students will love them all.
