A Quick Review of Bueno Entonces

2012
02.13

In this Bueno Entonces review you will find out whether this Spanish video course is for you. Bueno Entonces is an exciting video series that takes popular methods used in audio courses, making it fun, engaging, and most importantly effective.

The video series goes at quite a quick rate, with Spanish being introduced right from the first minute. Normal sentences are spoken even in the first video without a real translation, so it can be quite daunting for the learner who hasn’t seen any Spanish before.

The idea behind this is that the makers want the learner to be immersed in Spanish right from the start. Hearing the sounds and trying to mimic them is a way of learning that bypasses grammar explanations, repeated exercises and other more traditional methods of language learning.

The course includes thirty videos, each coming with a worksheet and further practice to help. This reinforces what has been learned and gives the student the opportunity to gain more knowledge of the structure of the Spanish language.

The course is perfect for learners who either have never studied Spanish before, or for those with some Spanish knowledge but feel that their spoken Spanish needs a little more practice.

Using the Internet for Core Curriculum

2012
01.21

Dr. Gin has been a speaker at the American Academy of Dermatology and ...I am always thrilled by how many great resources I can find on the internet for teaching core curriculum. I have been a language arts teacher for seven years and it seems that each year I am improving more and more. Each year, I manage to find new activites and new methods for explaining the curriculum. Sometimes, I wonder how students my first year were able to learn everything! I have improved so much. As I search online, I can often replace activities that were second rate or that my students did not like as well with something fresh and new. Even if I don’t use an activity completely, they often inspire a new method of explaining something to the class. I absolutely love finding new ways of doing things. I know that my students really appreciate it too. Many students have different learning styles, but I want all of my students to be learning!

How to Survive in These Tough Economic Times

2012

Infinite Banking-Seminar 8 - Rcrn - Moneymatters- EventbriteWhen it comes to making a living these days, its getting harder and harder. The cost of food is constantly going up, while our paycheques are either staying the same or being slashed. Have you thought about your financial planning strategy to get ahead? Its never too late to do either.

First, you need to write out a budget and understand where all your money is actually coming in and going out. You would be surprised, me included on some of the things that we actually spend our money on. Once you know how much you have coming in and your expenses, then you can decide on what you absolutely need and what is just nice to have.

Look, sometimes we just need to make some short term sacrifices for long term gain. I would rather have something to eat and shelter over my head than having nice stuff. Yet, many people will go out and spend at Xmas time like there is no tomorrow.

Second, you also need to have some sort of emergency fund as a back up. If you lost your job tomorrow, could you actually survive for the next 3 to 6 months? If not, its time to get very serious about this part of your overall plan.

Third, pay off your bloody debt once and for all. If you paid off those high interest credit cards, you would give yourself a nice raise in fact.

Translation the Right Way

For those who have tried to do english to malay translation. One key attitude that will definitely help you is being patience and the ability to see the error in a matter of seconds. Having a great sense and eye for detail is also a big must. In this line of work you have to make sure that no error is committed because a single word that was wrongly translated can cause a huge different to the entire meaning of the sentence and even affect the whole article. So before submitting anything that involves another language be sure that you have double checked it for any error that you might have missed. My suggestion is that if you are using a software to do it, repeat the process only this time do it manually so that you can double check the entire post and if you are doing it manually for the first time do and try to find an online site program that will allow you to check for any grammatical mistakes.
