I have been using Pur filters for more than ten years. I still have the original pitcher from the 90′s, and with each new filter style the life of the filter will get shorter and shorter. The modification in style deserves at most an one-star deduction. Sure, I will place them on the “Wall of Shame”. These filters are not only difficult to find in stores they are also more costly than what Amazon offers. I suspect it is a trick by them to make you buy more often. The good thing is in contrast to bottled water where they include minerals for “taste”, and so on., with a PUR pitcher whatever you get is water, nothing more, nothing less.
